What people ask before switching
Is migration really free?
Yes. Switch by Nov 30 and we migrate your cap table at no cost (normally $750), on any plan including Free. A person reviews the import with you before anything goes live.
What happens to my 409A?
Your current 409A report stays valid until it expires (usually 12 months, or sooner after a material event), so keep a copy from your Pulley export. Switch by Nov 30 and your next 409A is $899 on any plan, instead of $1,599 on Free or $2,250 standalone.
I already opted into Carta. Can I still switch?
Yes. Carta's offer keeps your Pulley price for the first year only. You can move to Value8 whenever you choose. Bring your Pulley export or a Carta export and we'll migrate either one. Check your Carta contract for any notice terms.
Is the price really flat?
Yes. Every Value8 plan is one annual price, whatever the number of stakeholders on your cap table. Carta prices each plan per stakeholder with a minimum annual fee.
How long do I have?
Carta's opt-in for Pulley customers closes Nov 30, 2026. Pulley stops operating Dec 8, 2026, and data export access ends Jan 31, 2027. Our switching offer runs until Nov 30. Whichever way you go, export your Pulley data now.
